Joanna Robin, PhD

Director

Joanna Robin specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and has expertise in the treatment of anxiety, mood, and behavioral problems. Dr. Robin works with children, adolescents, and adults, for whom she offers individual and family therapy, as well as parent training. She has been trained by world-renowned experts in the field of anxiety and CBT.

Dr Robin received her Ph.D in Clinical Psychology from Temple University and completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Columbia University Medical Center. Dr. Robin was a faculty member in the Department of Psychiatry at Columbia University Medical Center where she was a senior psychologist at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders from 2007-2013. She continued teaching postdoctoral fellows and interns at New York Presbyterian hospital at both Columbia and Cornell from 2013 to 2017.

Courtney You, Psy.D.

Courtney You, Psy.D.

Courtney You is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in CBT for anxiety disorders. She received her B.A. from Dartmouth College where she majored in Psychological and Brain Sciences and her masters and doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. Dr. You completed her pre-doctoral clinical internship training at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the South Bronx, where she served as an individual and group therapist in the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic, a clinician in the Psychiatric Emergency Department, a consultant in the Developmental Pediatrics clinic, and an evaluator in the Morrisania Child Developmental Clinic assessing for autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities. Prior to joining Westchester Anxiety Treatment, Dr. You worked in a wide range of care settings, including the emergency room, inpatient psychiatric units, partial hospitalization program, clinical research lab, and various outpatient clinics.

Rachel Terry Ph.D.

Dr. Rachel Terry is a Postdoctoral Fellow specializing in evidence-based treatments for anxiety, mood, and disruptive behavior disorders. Dr. Terry provides treatment through individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, and parent training. She approaches her patients with warmth, empathy, enthusiasm, and persistence to help them reach their goals. Dr. Terry is passionate about tailoring evidence-based treatments to each patient’s specific needs, interests, and learning style. She empowers her patients to become experts in managing their difficulties, providing them with the skills and confidence they need to face future events on their own.

Dr. Jennifer Allen, PhD

Jennifer Allen, PhD

Dr. Jennifer Allen is a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in the treatment of anxiety and disruptive behavior disorders in children and adults. She has extensive training in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) including behavioral parent training, and is a certified Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) therapist. Dr. Allen obtained her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Hofstra University in Long Island and completed her pre-doctoral internship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. Throughout her career she has maintained a focus on using cognitive behavioral approaches to treat children, adolescents, and adults diagnosed with anxiety disorders such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and Selective Mutism as well as externalizing disorders such as Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) and Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). At Hofstra University, Dr. Allen was a primary PCIT therapist in the Child and Parent Psychological Services Clinic under the direction of Dr. Phyllis Ohr, an expert PCIT Trainer. Dr. Allen was also a member of the Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Clinic at Hofstra University, and gained expertise in utilizing mindfulness-based approaches with adolescents and adults for a variety of presenting problems. Thus, Dr. Allen’s approach to treatment is characterized by principles of mindfulness and acceptance.

Dr Dana Jerusalmi

Dr. Dana Jerusalmi is a Postdoctoral Fellow specializing in the use of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and evidence-based treatment for anxiety and disruptive behavior disorders in children, adolescents and adults. Prior to earning her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from St. John’s University, she earned her B.A. in Psychology from Stern College of Yeshiva University, followed by her M.A. in Psychology from Teacher’s College of Columbia University.

She has provided individual and group therapy across a range of settings including NYU Child Study Center, Rockland Children’s Psychiatric Center, St. John’s Center for Psychological Services, and Andrus Children’s Center. Dr. Jerusalmi has also completed psychodiagnostic, psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments for both children and adults in various treatment settings. She frequently collaborates with school personnel to promote academic success and implement effective behavioral interventions.

Dr. Brittany Roslin is a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in the assessment and treatment of anxiety and mood related disorders, ADHD, and disruptive behavior disorders. She has specialized training in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and organizational skills training (OST). Dr. Roslin provides individual and group treatment, parent management training, home and school-based services. Treatment is a collaborative process using evidence-based interventions in order to help patients reach their goals and make positive, lasting changes. Dr. Roslin is dedicated to empowering her patients and their families with coping skills and the self-confidence to overcome emotional, social, and academic challenges.
