DESCRIPTION:The Club Confidence Summer Program is a 4-day intensive to help young children (ages 3-8) with Selective Mutism (SM). This therapeutic program aims to help children with SM feel more comfortable\, participatory\, and communicative in situations they encounter in their day-to-day lives.. Each day of the Club Confidence program will consist of a morning meeting\, brief academic lessons\, arts and crafts\, movement/sports activities\, lunch and snacks\, special guest visits\, and opportunities for show and tell and/or presentations. \nThe program will take place August 21st-24th (Monday-Thursday) 9-1 p.m. at Larchmont Temple Nursery School. Parent training workshops will be held virtually in the evening (day TBD). All counselors are trained and supervised by Dr. Brittany Roslin and Dr. Dana Jerusalmi.
